Return & Refund Policy

Custom Apparel, DTF Transfers & Specialty Product Policy

At HandmadeOhio, we specialize in custom apparel, DTF transfers, laser-engraved products, and specialty goods. Because most items are made to order, our policies reflect the nature of custom production.

Non-Returnable & Non-Exchangeable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange:

• Custom-made or personalized products
• Printed DTF transfers and gang sheets
• Laser-engraved items (tumblers, wallets, gifts, etc.)
• All leather products

These items are produced specifically for your order and cannot be resold.

No Exchange Policy

We do not accept exchanges on any items.

Due to the custom and made-to-order nature of our products, we are unable to swap sizes, designs, or products once an order has been completed.

If you need a different item, a new order must be placed.

DTF Transfer File Requirements (IMPORTANT)

To ensure the best possible print quality, all submitted artwork must meet the following:

• Minimum 300 DPI resolution
• PNG format with transparent background preferred
• Correct sizing before upload (no automatic resizing)
• RGB or CMYK color format
• Avoid extremely fine details or thin lines

⚠️ We print files exactly as submitted. No edits, corrections, or enhancements are made unless requested.

DTF Transfer Reprint Policy

Eligible for Reprint (Production Issues)

We will provide a free reprint if the issue is caused by us:

• Printing defects
• Incorrect colors due to printer error
• Adhesion failure due to defective transfer

Not Eligible for Reprint (Customer File Issues)

Reprints will NOT be provided for:

• Blurry or pixelated images
• Low-resolution artwork
• Improper sizing or formatting
• Any issue present in the original uploaded file

What you upload is what gets printed.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

• Contact us within 3 days of delivery
• Provide your order number and photos

We will review and provide a resolution if the issue is verified.

Returns on Eligible Items

Returns are only accepted for non-custom, non-leather items:

• Must be requested within 7 days of delivery
• Item must be unused and in original condition
• Returned in original packaging

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is defective or incorrect.

Refunds

• Issued after inspection of returned item
• Processed within 5–10 business days
• Shipping costs are non-refundable

Order Cancellations

• Allowed within 12 hours of purchase
• After that, production may begin and orders may not be canceled
