1. General Conditions

HandmadeOhio reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. By using our site, you agree not to use our products or content for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

2. Products & Services

All products are made to order unless otherwise stated. Due to the custom and handmade nature of our items:

  • Slight variations in color, placement, or finish may occur

  • These variations are considered normal and not defects

3. Custom & Personalized Orders

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all personalization details (names, spelling, colors, sizes, etc.) are correct at the time of checkout.

  • HandmadeOhio is not responsible for errors provided by the customer

  • Proof approval, if offered, must be reviewed carefully before approval

4. Pricing & Payments

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.

  • Payment is required in full before production begins

  • Taxes and shipping costs are calculated at checkout where applicable

5. Order Changes & Cancellations

Because orders move quickly into production:

  • Changes or cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of purchase

  • Once production has begun, changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed

6. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.

  • HandmadeOhio is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other factors outside our control

  • Risk of loss passes to the customer once the order is handed over to the carrier

7. Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom nature of our products:

  • All sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or defective

  • Any issues must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, logos, and content created by HandmadeOhio are the property of HandmadeOhio and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

  • Custom designs created for customers remain the property of HandmadeOhio unless otherwise agreed upon in writing

9. Limitation of Liability

HandmadeOhio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HandmadeOhio from any claims or demands arising out of your breach of these Terms or violation of any law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio.

12. Changes to Terms
